For working in challenging areas of tough grass. Large cutting diameter and optimised gear ratio. Improved mowing performance. With a brand new grip handle for improved ergonomics over long working periods. Technically enhanced gearbox includes updates to the sealing system, main bearing and lubricant circulation - meaning increased robustness and a long service life. New deflector design makes storage easier and increases visibility of the cutting attachment whilst working. Reduced vibration levels during partial load operation. STIHL 4-point anti- vibration system, STIHL ErgoStart, multi-function handle, bike handle, tool-free handle adjustment, STIHL 2-MIX engine, STIHL M-Tronic. With ADVANCE Universal harness and AutoCut 46-2 mowing head.

Features

Features include a large cutting diameter (520mm) and optimised gear ratio for improved mowing performance. Technically enhanced gearbox includes updates to the sealing system, main bearing and lubricant circulation - meaning increased robustness and a long service life. New deflector design makes storage easier and increases visibility of the cutting attachment whilst working. Reduced vibration levels during partial load operation.
STIHL M-Tronic: Fully electronic engine management system adjusts ignition timing and fuel metering in all operating modes. Ensures consistent engine performance, a constant maximum speed and superb acceleration.
STIHL 2-MIX Engine: Powerful and economical with reduced-emission engine technology. Separating the exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas minimises scavenging losses, and therefore increases the power output while reducing consumption.
STIHL ErgoStart: Cuts the effort and force required to start the tool, for trouble-free, almost effortless starting.
Multi-function control handle: Easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operator's hand never leaves the handle.
STIHL 4-point anti-vibration: Effective anti-vibration system reduces handle vibrations, making the tool less tiring and more comfortable to operate.
