• STIHL M-Tronic: Fully electronic engine management system adjusts ignition timing and fuel metering in all operating modes. Ensures consistent engine performance, a constant maximum speed and superb acceleration. 
• STIHL 2-MIX Engine: Powerful and economical with reduced-emission engine technology. Separating the exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas minimises scavenging losses, and therefore increases the power output while reducing consumption.
• STIHL ErgoStart: Cuts the effort and force required to start the tool, for trouble-free, almost effortless starting.
