The STIHL MS 212 petrol chainsaw is our most powerful petrol chainsaw for homeowners. Whether you are cutting firewood, pruning branches or felling small trees, the MS 212 packs all the power you need to tackle the toughest maintenance jobs.

Powered by a STIHL 2-MIX engine, the MS 212 has great cutting performance and low fuel consumption. It’s fitted with a 3/8" P saw chain which has high cutting performance thanks to the narrow kerf and available with a 16” guide bar. The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces transmission of vibrations to the handle, which relieves strain on your muscles and joints. The MS 212 has single-lever operation and is effortless to restart after interruptions thanks to the combi-lever. It’s also fitted with a transparent fuel and oil tank, so you can clearly see when the chainsaw needs a fuel or oil top up.

***USE 50:1 PETROL TO 2-STROKE MIX***

This means for every 1 litre of petrol you must mix 20ml of oil.

2-stroke engines generally don't have a separate oil reservoir for lubrication. So, in order to keep your 2-stroke engine lubricated the fuel must contain a certain amount of oil.

The petrol to oil ratio for your engine will be published by the manufacturer. Please check your user manual.

All items must be returned to Caulfields in the same condition in which they were shipped and in a saleable condition. Description

The IntelliCarb™ Compensating Carburetor is designed to automatically adjust the air/fuel ratio when the air filter becomes restricted or partially clogged and maintains the engine’s correct RPM. IntelliCarb™ uses air from the clean side of the air filter to control the diaphragm and flow of fuel. As the air filter becomes dirty and less air is available for the carburetor, the IntelliCarb™ system adjusts the fuel flow to compensate for the decrease in air flow. This is in contrast to typical carburetors that utilize this air from the “dirty” side of the air box.
STIHL Easy2Start™ (E), The STIHL Easy2Start™ system makes starting STIHL outdoor power tools almost effortless, eliminating the need for a strong pull of the starting cord. This advanced starting system is designed to make starting STIHL products easier. The specific system may vary by model, but in each case, a quick pull overcomes the engine’s compression to minimize the strength and effort required to start. Available on selected products.
