The STIHL woodcutter splitting maul features a heavy-duty cutting head that’s great for driving wedges or splitting large wood. The handle is made from top quality ash and has an oversized neck for enhanced stability. It will save you time and energy when dealing with especially dense, gnarly or thick wood.

  • Forged hammerhead with reversible tip. Extra large striking surface for safer handling when driving in aluminium and plastic wedges.
  • Highly suitable for Mid-Range/Heavier cleaving (35cm long, diameter up to 50cm)
  • Also highly suitable for cleaving metre=length logs and heavy wood (with cleaving wedges if necessary).
