SAYWELL Stainless Steel Locking Wire, DTD189A26SWG

Stainless steel locking wire used for safety wiring of nuts, bolts, turnbuckles etc.

Specifications

DTD189A is a British Ministry specification, internationally known throughout the aerospace industry.
Available in reels only, each will contain 0.5kg or about 390.5 meters of wire, size is 26 SWG which equates to 0.018" or 0.46 mm.

This wire is used in aircraft for locking components so they do not come undone due to vibration etc, also used in motor sport as well but you would find loads of uses for it round the garden or on your boat.
