MITUTOYO 517-909-1 Grade 1 BS 817 Granite Surface Plate with Stand, 900x600x100mm

A Mitutoyo surface plate made from fine-grained black granite. This material has many advantages compared to cast iron in this application, such as being non-magnetic, rustless, twice as hard, non-burr-forming and not prone to stickiness. Supplied with a robust steel stand.
