The Miller 81161 STR steel tape remover easily opens/separates the steel tape armour on fibre optic cable.

Features:

Easily opens or separates the steel tape armour on fibre optic cable
Unique counter-rotation mechanism opens steel tape armour in 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 turns allowing for cutting of the armour
Accommodates steel tape armour from 1 - 2 mm OD
Neodymium rare earth magnet holds tool halves together making operation easy
Tool totally heat treated for long life
Screw clamps are high-strength alloy steel
1.5" (38.1 mm) outside diameter fits comfortably in your hand
