MAKITA RT001GZ21 40Vmax XGT 1/4" & 3/8" Router Trimmer Body Only

This cordless router from Makita is powered by a brushless DC motor that operates at up to 40 Volts for fantastic torque and power. The machine's speed can be easily varied with the speed control dial on the side. This version of the tool is sold as the body only in a MakPac connector case. The RT001G is powered by a single 40Vmax battery pack (sold separately) which uses Lithium-ion technology.

The router has a router capacity of 1/4" and 3/8", having plenty of power to drive even the largest bits through the likes of MDF as well as solid timber. The RT001G is compatible with the same bases as the DRT50, making this the perfect upgrade path from the 18V LXT trimmer to the 40Vmax XGT trimmer. This trimmer is compatible with AWS, just add a wireless chip and pair with your compatible Makita extractor to allow the router to tell the extraction when to start and stop.

Easy Returns via Store, Post or Courier
