MAKITA JR002GZ 40Vmax XGT Compact Reciprocating Saw Bare Unit

With a stroke length of 32mm, yet an ultra compact design, this reciprocating saw from Makita is more than capable of cutting through a wide range of materials of various thicknesses. It operates at a stroke rate of up to 3,000 strokes per minute, variable via the pressure sensitive trigger switch in combination with the speed selector switch.

The saw can cut through carbon steel, wood, PVC, aluminium, and much more. The blade can be changed quickly and easily without the need for hand tools, and so can the shoe distance. Other excellent features are the bright LED job light, and the folding hanging hook.

To reduce vibrations, an internal counterweight moves in the opposite direction to the blade. The brushless DC motor operates at 36V, running from a single 40Vmax battery pack which uses Lithium-ion technology.
