Makita DKP180Z LXT 18 Volt Lithium-Ion 82mm Planer Body Only

Based on the mains power model and giving the same performance, it has a blade width of 82 mm and will plane up to 2 mm in a single pass with a maximum rebate depth of 9 mm. Depth adjustment is accurately controlled with a large front grip handle with scale adjusting in 0.01 mm increments. The blades are protected when not in use by a small foot that drops from the baseplate lifting them clear of a surface and potential damage. Supplied as a body only, this tool takes Makita 18 volt Lithium-ion batteries.

Lithium-ion 40 percent weight saving means 18-volt power can be obtained by a battery that weighs the same as a 12-volt Ni-MH battery

A precision machined aluminium base allows for planning accuracy and the cutter head makes 14000 cuts per minute for fast stock removal

Left and right handed use due to the buttons on either side of the handle
Dust extraction port on the side
Adjustable up to a 2 mm depth of cut
Shoe on the underside stops accidental laying down of planner while blade is still moving
Rebates to a maximum depth of 9 mm
