Multi material saw blades are primarily designed to cut fibre cement boards, but can also cope with most wood based materials. The polycrystaline diamond teeth are suited to the abrasive materials found in fibre cement or particle boards and maintain and effective cutting edge long after TCT teeth would have worn out.
