CONTEC SV-2 CONSTIX® Surface Validation Swabs, 5.98'' (151.9mm), Pack of 5
The SV-2 is a sealed polyester swab that has been specifically designed for validation of surface cleaning protocols. The head is constructed of a double layer knitted polyester fabric that has been processed to minimize background TOC contribution. The polyester head is constructed without adhesives or binders, which makes the swab compatible with most common solvents, such as alcohols and ketones.
The round head and flexible handle of SV-2 allows access to recessed surfaces for easier contamination retrieval or sampling. The head is thermally bonded to a notched polypropylene handle to minimize handling and improve sample transfer into vials. The swab can be sterilized by most common methods and the small put-up ensures accurate testing with little waste. Each pack of SV-2 contains five swabs packaged inside a cleanroom grade re-closable bag.
