CITEC Manhole Cover Lifter

The Mustang 'chinook' Manhole Cover Lifter allows one man to quickly and safely lift manhole covers.

The chinook is simple and quick to use, allowing a cover to be lifted within minutes of arrival on site.

Simply place the chinook on a cover, attach the keys, rotate the handles clockwise and the cover will raise.

Then pull the wheel end and the cover will arc round.

The chinook automatically breaks the seal of a cover, it is supplied with 2 pairs of keys which can be stored on the lifter.

Square, rectangular, round, triangular and split covers can all be lifted by the chinook.

The compact but rugged design of the chinook means that it easily fits into the boot of a car.

The chinook can lift covers with hole centres from 50mm to 850mm.
