The Extech pinless moisture meter is a device used to measure the percentage of water present in certain substances. This information can then be used to ascertain whether a material is ready to be used, and this is especially applicable in industries that work with wood and paper, as they are particularly sensitive and susceptible to moisture damage.

It is important to be able to measure moisture levels in objects as some materials undergo physical changes, which means their physical properties, such as density and shape, are altered. Our pinless moisture meter can be used to quickly indicate the moisture content of materials and is able to do so for up to ten different types of wood. It also has ten different measurement ranges.

This moisture meter is able to measure moisture percentage up to 20mm below the surface of the material being tested and for ease of use, it comes standard with automatic internal test and calibration settings. Best of all, our meter uses electro-magnetic testing technology for non-invasive measurements, meaning that the objects you are working on sustain no damage.
