MAKITA DBO380Z 18V Cordless Finishing Sander For 1/3 Sheet, Bare Unit

This new finishing sander from Makita has a reconfigured layout, with the battery over the top of the body allowing for two handles. This gives you greater control, but the front handle can be removed allowing you to get right into limited access corners. The sander comes with a dust bag to collect generated dust, but if you have dust extraction available, you can remove the dust bag and attach the sander to that.

The sander is not supplied with a battery or charger, to keep costs lower for those with LXT 18V batteries already. The brushless DC motor that drives the sanding plate is highly efficient, getting the most out of each battery charge. The top-centrally-mounted battery slot means you aren't limited to using smaller battery packs.
