Eclipse scrapers are suitable for removing high spots from bearings. The 533BS is forged hollow out of solid bar producing a close-grained high-quality steel.
Hand scrapers are designed for the removal of high spots on machined surfaces to give a smoother surface on slideways, bearings, cast iron surface plates and precision marking out plates. All scrapers have a soft feel handle and are made from high-grade tool steel suitably hardened, to maintain a very keen cutting edge. Suitable for removing high spots from bearings.
