Five reasons to use 

  • Reason 1: Withstands stress

The Impact bits is made of a high-alloy steel. This because its ability to deform slightly under stress without permanent damage.

  • Reason 2: Designed to flex

The torsion zone is engineered to be thinner compared to the rest of the bit shaft. This allows the torsion zone to twist and flex when subjected to torque from an impact driver.

  • Reason 3: Protects the screw

When the impact driver applies torque to the screw, the torsion zone absorbs some of this rotational force. It does so by temporarily deforming and storing energy, reducing the stress transmitted to the tip of the bit.

As the torsion zone flexes, it dissipates some of the energy generated by the impact driver. This helps to prevent the energy from being concentrated at the tip of the bit, reducing the risk of breakage or deformation.
