Ambersil 31576 400ml Dry Molybdenum Disulphide Lubricant


Ambersil Dry Moly is a resin bonded, high-pressure resistant, dry film lubricant containing Molybdenum Disulphide for metal-to-metal lubrication where a wet film cannot be tolerated. Once applied, the MoS2 lubricant prevents seizing, fretting, scuffing and reduces friction. The thin film also helps prevent corrosion and repels water.

  • Use for the assembly and running-in of components
  • Use as running in treatment on rolling and sliding bearings
  • Particularly effective where high load bearing surface to surface contact is present
  • Resin bonded, high-pressure resistant, dry film lubricant containing Molybdenum Disulphide
  • For use in high load applications where other lubricants would fail, but a dry film is still required
  • Apply to threaded and close tolerance components to prevent seizing and aide assembly and disassembly
  • Multiple applications (re-coating) provides enhanced performance, with the final coat benefiting from light polishing to further improve slip
  • Assembly of screws and seals
  • Lubrication of guides and joints
  • Lubrication of open gears
  • For use where a wet-film lubricant is undesirable
  • Bearing lubrication for wheel bearings and kiln carts
  • Surface treatment of rolling and sliding bearings to improve running-in
