This tool is ideal for use by suspended ceiling installers, electricians and anyone else who regularly needs to cut threaded rod without causing damage to the threads. The DCS350 is safer to use as there is no spinning blade. The cutting is done by a shearing motion, which also means the tool doesn't cause sparks or create metal filings. To aid the user in their work, the stud cutter even includes a bright LED work light to very effectively illuminate the work piece for better safety and efficiency. The machine is suitable for cutting M6, M8, M10 and M12 threaded rod thanks to the interchangeable cutting dies. To change the cutting dies you use the included Allen key which is also stored on the machine for handiness.
